Have you ever heard of Titan Time? If you’re an underclassmen, you probably haven’t. Titan Time was an incentive for students who had a 70% or above in a particular class. If a student had above a 70%, they were able to get out of class 20 minutes early and go in the cafeteria or the commons with their friends, but unfortunately this incentive is not happening this year.
Titan Time occurred every Tuesday and Thursday during either 1st hour, 2nd hour, 3rd hour, 5th hour, or 6th hour. Titan Time did not occur during 4th hour because of 4th hour being A,B, or C lunch. However last year, the criteria for Titan Time changed. In order to leave for Titan Time, you had to have an A to get out of class 20 minutes early. If you had a B or a C, you were able to go in the back of the classroom and talk to your friends but you could not leave.
This was a great incentive for students who were on task and doing what they should. Many students enjoyed Titan Time but it is unfortunately not going to be brought back into effect this school year.
