As many staff and students know, the campus corner has just added a new addition to their friendly store: a new Foosball table! How awesome is that?
“We wanted to make the campus corner a more fun and exciting environment to come hangout in, and what better way to do that than a Foosball table,” Trevor Ajini’17 shares on why they decided to put a Foosball table in the campus corner. Trevor Ajini and Tim Eichman were the guys we should be thanking, they came up with the idea to have a Foosball table! No fundraising was needed to afford this table (which was around $700) because WWT students had come together and voted for our school to receive the table. The top 60 spots had won the grant, and that is what we used to afford the table.
Students can come in during lunch to play against other students, teachers, or even our principal, Mr. Mackenzie. Ajini was the one confident enough to compete against Mr. Mackenzie in a game. “I won the first time, but the handles were backwards on the Foosball table, so once we changed them, Mr. Mackenzie killed me”.
Having this Foosball table in our school provides the students and even staff to get a break from all the work they have for a while, and to come closer together as a school!
