Mr. Grommons is one of WWT’s new Foods/Hospitality Teachers and has been teaching here since the start of the 2021-2022 school year.
His favorite thing about Tower is the students themselves. This is his first year having freshmen, and he thinks “they are amazing!”
He doesn’t have a preference for a favorite grade, but teaches a variety of ages and grades with the Foods program.
He decided to become a teacher because he loved teaching his school-aged employees when he owned a restaurant. He thought it seemed to be a logical career.
Three Fun Facts About Him:
1) He has 3 cats
2) He loves visiting Lake Michigan
3) He loves Heavy Metal Music
His favorite memory from high school was his competitive powerlifting. He earned may trophies and medals, and had the opportunity to travel around the state and compete in competitions.
One piece of advice he’d give to students?
“Keep up! Do not fall behind in school. Ask for help with you need it, and NEVER GIVE UP!”
