On Thursday October 6th, representatives from the Macomb County Election Clerk’s office will be at Tower to register voters for the 2016 Presidential election. Regardless of your political beliefs or opinions of the candidates, voting is a fundamental right all American citizens enjoy. If you are 18 or will be 18 by November 8th, you can vote in this election. To register, visit the Voter Registration table in the commons from 10:30-12:30 on Thursday. All you need is your identification.

The Social Studies department wants to remind you that every vote counts so be sure to vote or volunteer this election season. In the 2012 election, less than half of all Americans ages 18-29 voted in the Presidential election. Do you really want this country to be run by bunch of old people? Get out and vote!
