The Green Club has re-earned the Evergreen rank, the highest status of Green school that can be reached annually.
“We have done many things to earn the status,” said Green Club member, Erika Nichols ’14.
Many of the green club projects have included recycling efforts, earthwork composting, donating to WWF to adopt an animal, volunteering to clean up a project, and many presentations of green ideals.
Recently, the Green Club has been hard at work with new projects.
“We implemented a Green Week, we are purchasing a free little library (a take a book, leave a book system), we had a ‘Can it!’ fundraiser (donate can and bottles for the chance of [winning] a gift card), and ordered first ever original designed T-shirts,” Nichols said.
