Current and past AP U.S. History students convened on Thursday May 24, 2012 to mark the inaugural AP Henry Ford Museum field trip. The brainchild of Mr. Dougherty, the AP teacher, the trip is meant to be a fun activity after the stress of the course and then the AP test, taken in the first week of May. Students had access to not only the Henry Ford Museum, but also Greenfield Village. Current students were required to partner up and choose their own themes that could be explored in each decade from the 1800s to today, such as transportation or inventions.
