After receiving insight, Brian Marchand states, “The weather is always very chilly first thing in the morning, but I enjoy bringing my children every other year as a family tradition.” Hundreds of thousands of people come to not only enjoy the floats, but to see the smiles on everyone’s face make it worth the while. Patricia Schmid includes, “I have only been one time a couple of years ago with my family, we loved all the floats the Detroit Parade Company put out for show.” New floats and old floats appear from throughout the years.
